Founder & Chair
Cyrille Mai Thanh founded the Brussels Sustainability Club in 2021 with the aim to connect public affairs practitioners working on sustainability policies. Besides the club, Cyrille works in the sustainability practice of DGA, a leading public affairs consultancy, where he advises clients on a broad range of policy issues related to climate, energy, and environment, and supports them with strategy, messaging, and stakeholder engagement. He is also on secondment for the Fusion Industry Association to advance fusion energy at European level.
Giorgia
Epicoco
Vice chair
Giorgia Epicoco is an expert in industrial and environmental policies and currently serves as Senior EU Affairs Manager and Sustainability & Industrial Policy Lead at Huawei Europe. With extensive experience in policy development and international relations, Giorgia is known for her commitment to sustainable industrial development and the promotion of renewable energy. Prior to Huawei, she has worked with the United Nations and has an international academic background in political science, public administration, and management.
Stefano
Miriello
Vice Chair
Stefano Miriello is the Head of EU External Affairs for the Carbon Capture & Storage Association in Brussels. He has had several previous experiences in EU climate and energy policies, having worked for companies and trade associations such as FederlegnoArredo, GSE (Gestore Servizi Energetici), and the European Heat Pump Association. In his previous role, Stefano was the Policy and Business Development Advisor for the RE-Source Platform, working with SolarPower Europe and WindEurope.
Constance
Maillard
Vice chair
Constance Maillard joined the Brussels Sustainability Club to help manage this unique network of European green policy enthusiasts. She was previously part of the organising team of the College of Europe’s Energy and Climate Nest. Constance works as EU policy officer in charge of waste, circular economy and energy-from-waste at Veolia, a global leader for ecological transformation. Previously, she was EU policy officer for the French company Safran, working on reconciling sustainability and European sovereignty.
