Every year, about a thousand teams come to the King Baudouin Stadium for the Brussels Ekiden, a fun relay race which consists of six runners, who together cover the marathon distance of 42km. The exact distances are:
Runner 1 → 5 km
Runner 2 → 10 km
Runner 3 → 5 km
Runner 4 → 10 km
Runner 5 → 5 km
Runner 6 → 7,195 km
We are looking for runners to form several teams with the Brussels Sustainability Club. The registration costs €34 per runner. Free BSC running shirts will be offered to the first registered participants. If you’re interested, make sure to register before 23 September.
